From April 1 to 3, 2025, Secretary General Shi Zhongjun of the ASEAN-China Centre (ACC) made a field visit to Zhenjiang, Jiangsu Province, where he had an in-depth exchange of views with Mayor Xu Shuhai and Vice Mayor Yin Weimin of Zhenjiang, on promoting practical cooperation in such areas as trade, investment, and agricultural machinery between Zhenjiang and ASEAN countries. Shi Zhongjun also visited Jiangsu University, World Group, a leading agricultural machinery enterprise of Zhenjiang, and Jiangzhiyuan Fishery Technology Company of Yangzhong, to explore areas that local universities and enterprises can better reach out to ASEAN market and tapping potential on cooperation in fields of agricultural industry and research between ASEAN and China.
