ACC Secretary-General Yang Xiuping Met with Chairman of China Chamber of Commerce in Indonesia

On 17 May 2018, H.E. Mme. Yang Xiuping, Secretary-General of ASEAN-China Centre (ACC) met with Mr. Liu Cheng, Chairman of China Chamber of Commerce in Indonesia, and Mr. Gao Jing, Vice Chairman and Vice Secretary General of the chamber. Secretary-General Yang Xiuping briefed on ACC’s work, particularly the practical cooperation in trade and investment. She fully affirmed the important role of Chinese enterprises in Indonesia in promoting local economic and social development and deepening Indonesia-China relations, encouraging them to continue to support ASEAN-China friendly exchanges and cooperation. She said that ACC would continue to create more platforms for enterprises of both sides and support bilateral cooperation to make new and greater achievements.

Chairman Liu spoke highly of the work done by ACC to promote practical cooperation in the fields of trade and investment, and looked forward to more engagement in ACC activities, so as to make greater contribution to the sustainable, comprehensive and profound development of China-Indonesia and China-ASEAN relations.
