JOB DESCRIPTION

1.?Assistant -?General Affairs and Coordination?Division

1)?Assist the Officer with the daily and administrative work.

2)?Liaise with the governmental departments of ASEAN countries and China, Joint Executive Board and Joint Council and relative international organizations.

3)?Assist the Division to write bilingual paperwork, letters and note verbals etc..

4)?Provide support to develop, plan?and organize?Joint Council(JC) Meeting, Joint Executive Board(JEB) Meeting and JEB Working Group Meeting, and to implement relative business visits etc, and follow-up?GACD?project activities.?

5)?Other assigned work.

2.?Assistant -?Information and Public Relation?Division

1)?Assist the Officer with the daily and administrative work.

2)?Liaise with Media and Public Relations Departments of ASEAN countries and China, as well as relative international organizations. Assist the Division to write bilingual paperwork, letters and note verbals etc..

3)?Bilingual news edition, translation and release, participation in the work of publishing ACC’s News Letters.

4)?Provide support to develop, plan, organize?and implement IPRD’s flagship?project activities.?Provide assistance and support to inbound and outbound news and report work of ASEAN countries and China?etc.,and follow-up?IPRD?project activities.

5)?Other assigned work.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENT

1)?In good health.

2)?Bachelor degree?or higher level qualification.

3)?Excellent command of both Chinese and English,?written?and spoken.?

4)?Must possess a strong sense of commitment, professionalism and responsibility.

5)?High-level interpersonal and communication skills as well as commitment to?teamwork responsibility and collaborative work practices,?and willingness to travel.

6)?Adequate knowledge of Microsoft Office and Outlook and other relevant applications such as photo editing, etc.

7)?Common knowledge of and/or demonstrate great interest on?ASEAN and ASEAN-China relationship, commitment to promoting the development of relations between ASEAN and China.?

8)?Age between 25 and 40.

9)?Working?experience?or?internship?in?relevant?filed?would?be?a?plus.

EMPLOYMENT PERIOD

Initial contract for a maximum of one year,?inclusive?of the one-month paid probationary period.?

The contract could be extended?on a one year basis?depending on the performance.

SALARY

Salary negotiable.

Five social?insurances and one housing fund.

RECRUITMENT PROCESS

Applicants?are required to go through written test & interview in English and Chinese languages.

Successful candidate?for GACD?is expected to start work at ACC on 18 April 2018, and the one for IPRD is expected to work on 16 May 2018.
