On 24 August 2016, ASEAN-China Centre (ACC) Secretary-General H.E. Mme. Yang Xiuping met with Mr. Suo Shuhe, President of China National Aero-Technology International Engineering Corporation at ACC.
President Suo said that, China National Aero-technology International Engineering Corporation is the only subsidiary of AVIC (Aviation Industry Corporation of China) specializing in international engineering contracting. Sticking to the principle of “Aero Quality, Excellent Engineering”, the company has constructed dozens of public, civil and industrial projects with high quality, and has gained a good reputation internationally. Next step, with the advantages in products and service, the Company would like to have a closer cooperation with ASEAN Member States. He spoke highly of ACC’s contribution to promote ASEAN-China functional cooperation, and hoped to get ACC’s support in their future work.
Secretary-General Yang briefed on ACC’s work in promoting functional cooperation in the five priority areas of trade, investment, education, culture and tourism. She remarked that, as the only inter-governmental international organization co-founded by the Governments of ASEAN Member States and China, ACC made an active effort in promoting ASEAN-China trade and investment cooperation. ACC would like to enhance its communication with the Company, to make a joint effort to achieve the target of 1 trillion USD two way trade volume between ASEAN and China by 2020.
Mr. Zhang Xuehai, Deputy Director of Information and Public Relations Division, Mr. Sun Ledong, Vice President of the Company were present at the meeting.
